This is the second time that I've seen this show. The first time was on Broadway with most of the original cast. John Tartaglia was the only one that had left.
This touring show did a great job. The lady that played Kate Monster really had the voice and everything down wonderfully. She was amazing. The guy who played Rod was a bit annoying, but ok. The other guy who did a lot of the voices and played Trekkie Monster was very good. Christmas Eve was a different stereo-type since she was skinny and the fat guy was way fatter than the original, but did a great job.
I'd recommend this show. There's nothing here that is too off from the original. It is what it is. Kind of a one-hit wonder. That's all that they need for Broadway, though.
