Hay Fever

Old Globe Theatre, San Diego
This was a pretty good play. It's about a family of four - Father, Mother, Sister, Brother. They live out in the Hamptons or something like that. Anyway, they all accidently invite people to stay the weekend without informing the other members of the family. So, it turns out that there are eight people in the house when everyone thought that there would just be four. Everyone switches friends too, as the play goes on.
The story itself is kind of simple and dated. The actors did a good job, but I felt bad for them because the theatre was quite empty. My seat was at the far end of the front row of the balcony and I was able to move center with no problem or hindrance.
'Hay Fever is one of the most popular and hilarious comedies of all time, by the master of style and wit, Noel Coward.' I pulled that from the the Goldstar website.
