Kirk Douglas, Culver City
Ok, I have to give you more information than just the titles and dates of the shows I'm seeing.
This was actually an extremely good play. It was about this lady who was married to an alcoholic. They rent a room to a college girl who has a model boyfriend. The husband is attracted to this girl and when she's at the end of her semester and it looks like she'll be leaving, he falls off the wagon and attacks his wife.
It's kind of a day in the life, so it moves along pretty slow and simply.
The wife was the lady from Law & Order. She's a very good actress.

My seat was up on the ledge in the back, so when they were stage left I had to kind of lean over the banister to try to see.
I just did a little research as I was looking for some pictures and it turns out that there's a 1952 version of this story that they made a movie out of. Perhaps it's a play that's been around for a while. It just started out slow and all of a sudden in the second act there's quite a violent interaction.
