I finally made it over to the Pantages to see the LA production of Wicked. My seat was wonderful!!! Down on the floor towards the right. I love being able to see the performers' expressions as they're speaking and singing.

Eden Espinosa and Carol Kane were both out. I was so bummed!! At least Megan Hilty was in. They must coordinate between themselves so that not all of the leads are out on the same night. Megan was great. Her voice was right on and her character was hilarious. She had the perfect attitude and seemed like she really enjoyed this role.

The girl who replaced Eden, Courtney Corey, did a great job. I was totally impressed and it didn't feel like she was nervous or worried about it at all. I guess that's why they get the big bucks. She was the understudy though. I wonder why the standby didn't do it. oh well.
